Top Ten Tuesday: Colorful Titles

It’s Tuesday and that means time for another Top Ten Tuesday list! This week’s topic is May Flowers, but I am giving this one a spin. Not too big of a spin, but a spin nonetheless. I’m listing ten books with colors in the title instead. Again, This list is compiled by both books I’ve read, are on my TBR or just picked at random. Another challenge I gave myself is to stay away from black and white, otherwise this would have been too easy. Without further ado, let’s take a look at my findings!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

  1. Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
  2. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (read)
  3. Agnes Grey by Anne Bronté
  4. Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
  5. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon (read and DNF)
  6. Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson
  7. Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors (TBR)
  8. Feminists Don’t Wear Pink by Scarlett Curtis
  9. The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman
  10. The Scarlet Veil by Shelby Mahurin (TBR)

What book with colors in the title comes to mind for you first? And have you read any of these?

  3. The first book that came to mind for me was Yellow Wife by Sadeqa Johnson. From your list the only two I’ve read are Anne of Green Gables and The Golden Compass.

  11. Agnes Grey has been one of my favourite classics.

  12. Nice twist. I’ve done flowers before but concentrated more on flowers that are in bloom at the moment. But I love your idea. I have read three of your books, yellow, grey and green.
    Here is my list.
