Hello and welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! Today is the day we will either love or regret in a few months. The day has come to set our Spring 2026 TBR! Although I have proven to be quite successful with these seasonal TBRโs in recent years, it still is a bit confronting when looking back on them every single time. Why you may ask? Well, simple. Iโm a mood reader and sometimes donโt feel like reading the books Iโve promised myself to read when curating the particular TBR. Will I do better this season? Time to find out in a couple of months! What books do I hope to have knocked off by then? Letโs take a look!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
- Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie โ I actually put this on my March TBR, but I doubt I will manage to finish it. However, March is the start of Spring, so letโs put it on this TBR as well, shall we?
- Cleopatra by Saara El-Arifi โ This is another of my March possibilities, but I donโt own an ebook copy yet. I thought I would be fine with the audiobook, but I heard people not vibing with this and having the feeling the audiobook contributes to that feeling. I therefore want to play it safe and get myself the ebook.
- Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone โ I thrive on contemporary books in the warmer seasons, so there should definitely be some romance on the TBR. I think this is a good one.
- Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez โ Guess whoโs back, back againโฆ the difference this time is that I actually was about to pick this book up over the weekend, but found out I never got a copy. So I finally got one and now I can knock it off of the TBR. I only owned Just For the Summer so far, which is book three in this interconnected series.
- Very Bad Elite by Jane S. Wonda โ I will definitely pick up this book soon, Iโm taking it from my winter TBR to this one.
- Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood โ Letโs give this book another chance, it has seen multiple TBRโs by now. This author is truly a hit or miss for me, so this is why Iโm a bit cautious.
- Rewind It Back by Liz Tomforde โ I already thought I would have read this one by now, but Iโm very excited to do so!
- The Correspondent by Virginia Evans โ I have seen this book literally everywhere the past months and I got myself the audiobook on Audible. Iโm really curious as this is not the book I would typically pick up, but Iโm interested nevertheless.
- When the Cranes Fly South by Lisa Ridzรฉn โ Iโve seen plenty of buzz for this book here in the Netherlands, so naturally this made me curious. Itโs kind of a slow read, which is often a hit or miss for me. Letโs see how this one will work out.
- The South by Tash Aw โ As already mentioned in my spring 2025 reflection post, I already was sure I would have read this book by now. It doesnโt seem that long, and moreover, something I would enjoy. So, this book gets a new chance, on a shiny new TBR!
What books do you gravitate more towards in spring? Are there any books we have in common this season?
