Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Fall 2025 TBR

It’s Tuesday once again and fall has officially started. It therefore is time to set our seasonal TBR for fall 2025. As well as I’m doing on my monthly TBR’s lately, I often fall behind on the seasonal ones. I’d rather call this fall TBR my fall 2025 hopefuls instead. Without further ado, let’s take a look!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

  1. Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater – This is the third novel in the “The Raven Cycle” series and whereas I quite enjoyed The Raven Boys and find The Dream Thieves rather vague, I still want to give this book a try. I read the previous one in spring, so let’s see if the fall season works better for this series and its vibe.
  2. Arcana Academy by Elise Kova – I hear nothing but good stuff about this book, so I have to see for myself. It’s on my September TBR actually.
  3. The Wind Weaver by Julie Johnson – The hype seemed to have fizzled out already, but I still am curious for this romantasy. Another book that is on my TBR for this month.
  4. Swift and Saddled by Lyla Sage – Last fall I read Done and Dusted and although I wasn’t the biggest fan, I still want to give this series another chance before deciding whether to continue or not.
  5. Enter Ghost by Isabella Hammad – I’m afraid I won’t be able to pick up this book in September, even though it’s on my possibility pile. This will definitely be pushed back to October, so definitely a fall pick.
  6. Finding My Way by Malala Yousafzai – I hardly read nonfiction, but it has been over ten years since I have read I Am Malala and five or so years since I have read We Are Displaced. I’m curious for Malala’s new memoirs as a grown-up. This probably won’t get a review as I don’t review nonfiction on this blog.
  7. Twisted Lies by Ana Huang – This book is long overdue and actually doesn’t pique my interest anymore, but I want to finish it for the sake of finishing this series.
  8. Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa – This book has been mentioned on so many lists over the past few months, that I actually have to read it.
  9. The Wren in the Holly Library by K.A. Linde – A leftover from fall 2024. Admittedly, I’m not that curious anymore as I wonder if this book would be the right fit for me. Honestly, I have this feeling about a lot of books I acquired last year or even earlier this year. Another shift in my reading preferences?
  10. Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree – Will this be the season I give this book another try, or will I ignore it once again? Let’s wait and see!

What books do you hope to read this fall? Are any of mine also piquing your curiosity?

  1. The Raven Cycle is one of my favorite series. In fact, I often think about rereading it.

  2. I have far too many books that I have picked up along the way, but then I keep putting off reading them. I must sort them all out.

  3. These look good. The only books I ever really get done are deadline ones. I do try to read my own books, but my head gets turned by Blog Tours and Netgalley books!

Legends and Lattes was meh for me.

    Have a great week!

  4. I enjoyed Legends and Lattes, but I understand that it may not be for everyone. I hope you enjoy reading all of these when the mood strikes.

  5. I agree wholeheartedly with your ‘fall hopefuls’ idea, every TBR I post on my blog is hopeful, if I’m being honest! I hope you’ll love all these books whenever you get to them 🙂

I enjoyed Blue Lily, Lily Blue but never did finish the series. I hope you love all on your Fall TBR!

  13. I didn’t mind The Wind Weaver but I’m a bit wary about a direction that it could go in. Ironically the same direction I’m wary about The Wren in the Holly Library, which I did not like as much.

Ooh nice picks! Quite a few new to me ones. I still need to read Arcana Academy as well! I did enjoy The Wren in the Holly Library though! Just discovered Linde this year but she’s already a fave! Hope you get to read all of these this fall and love them all!

    Thanks for visiting my TTT!

  19. I’d love to try Arcana Academy too, I’ve also heard only good things 🙂

  20. […] but as we will be setting our winter 2025 TBR next week, it’s time for me to look back on my fall 2025 one. This was the season of the annually returning yet dreaded reading slump, so reflecting on this […]
