A new month means a new TBR! In contradiction to the past few months – or actually to the start of setting these monthly TBR’s – I’ve finished the entirety of my August one. This was quite unexpected, but I had a good reading month overall and I made an effort to finally finish this whole TBR. So, it’s time to start fresh! Again, no pictures to book covers, that felt like a relief last time. So, if you want to see the cover or know more about any of the books, click on the links in the title. I’ll look to my “up next” queue on the Storygraph once again and additionally will add some possibilities.
In the queue
- The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig – This one is moving from my “possibility pile” from August to my actual TBR for September. I wanted to read this book ever since publication, but I didn’t get to it. Everyone seems to love it, so this makes me even more curious.
- The Wind Weaver by Julie Johnson – Another book I want to read ever since publication but didn’t get to either. This also moves from my list of possibilities in August to my actual TBR for September.
- Arcana Academy by Elise Kova – I have been eyeing this book for a while now and I also got myself the ebook. I hear nothing but positive reviews, so let’s go!
- The Most Secret Memory of Men by Mohamed Mbougar Sarr – I have been wanting to read this book for months now as well, but this one is long and somewhat challenging, so it was just never the right time for it. I certainly do think this month will be right for this chonker, just before autumn starts.
- When the Fireflies Dance by Aisha Hassan – I was hoping to read this book in August, but it wasn’t on any TBR or whatsoever. I just didn’t have the time for it, but this sounds right up my alley.
The possibilities
- Enter Ghost by Isabella Hamad
- These Summer Storms by Sarah MacLean
- The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic
- The Primal of Blood and Bone by Jennifer L. Armentrout
What books do you hope to read in September?
