A week has passed and actually I am in the same boat as last week. I have yet to pick another book as I finished mine on Monday and haven’t read a signel page when writing this post on Tuesday night. And that’s all with good reason. Want to find out why? Keep reading!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words, where bloggers share the books that they’ve recently finished, what they are currently reading and what books they are planning to read next. Essentially you have to answer three questions (the Three Ws): What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? Since I’m a mood reader, you have to take my last W with a grane of salt though. So, let’s take a look into my 3 W’s, shall we?
What are you currently reading?
Well, I’m not reading anything at the moment as I have to pick another book and I have no idea what I want to read. Fantasy? Literary fiction? Yet another romance? I have two romances on my TBR and some romantasies as possibility, but I’m just so indecisive. I went completely rogue last week though.
What did you recently finish reading?
I decided to not stick to my TBR at all and to pick up The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston instead. I have been on the fence about this book for the longest time as I don’t really enjoy magical realism. It never seems to add anything to the story. But this one caught me by surprise and my review will be up sometime soon. And this exact same book is the reason I haven’t been able to pick up something else.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m really doubting between some books, because I have the feeling that Alison Cochrun’s Here We Go Again and Sophie Gonzales’ If This Gets Out can’t catch up to the last two books I have read. Maybe The Wind Weaver by Julie Johnson or The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig could, but I’m just not sure. I also got a copy of My Friends byFredrik Backman, an author who everyone and their mother seems to have read, but me. To be continued!
