The start of a new month also means a new monthly TBR! I manage to read most of my June TBR but mostly forgot the possibility pile, I think I did fairly well once again. Some books are moved over to July for different reasons, so let’s see if I can knock them off now! Once again, I’ll write down my momentary “up next” queue on The Storygraph, along with a few books I might possibly read. So, let’s take a look!
In the queue
The first book that’s moving over to July is Just Some Stupid Love Story by Katelyn Doyle. I just didn’t feel like it in June, other books within the genre caught my attention so this one is taking the backburner once again.
What Happens in Amsterdam by Rachel Lynn Solomon is coming from my June possibility pile. Later that month, I moved it to the queue, but I ran out of time. Furthermore, it’s picked as a book off the month online, so I definitely will read it in July!
A new Taylor Jenkins Reid book means an immediate TBR! I got the audiobook, so let’s see what Atmosphere is all about right? I only see positive reviews, so this better be good indeed!
Romance is my go-to genre in summer and Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun is a book I’ve been eyeing for a while. So, I figured now is the right time to read it. As simple as that.
Another book of the month pick is The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith, so naturally it’s on my July TBR.
Possibilities
I’m keeping this short as it’s still too hot (28° inside and it’s close to midnight) to think and to craft a whole post with images and everything, I’ve had enough LOL!
- Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab – I was hoping to pick this book up in June, but I just didn’t manage.
- That Night by Amy Giles – Another backlist book that has been on the TBR for years now.
- The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong – I just want to read this book.
So, I think these are a nice bunch of books!
What’s on your TBR for ths month?
