Itโs Tuesday once again and welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday! This weekโs topic is kind of tough for me, because I had several blogs on and off. Itโs therefore quite hard to figure out which books Iโve reviewed in the past and which ones I havenโt, because I hardly cross posted these reviews. Same applies to Instagram, Iโm very, very inconsistent on this app so I canโt keep up with what books I have and havenโt reviewed. I therefore tweaked this weekโs topic a little bit to books I never reviewed on this blog, since this one is alive since June 2022. I still stray away from reviewing certain genres like nonfiction, these books are a nightmare to review and moreover, these often are real peopleโs stories. So why should I review them? Without further ado, here are 10 books I never reviewed on this blog!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
- Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch โ I read this book in 2020, and I think I was in-between blogs at that time. Or I was lost with one of them. I canโt remember, but at the time I loved the book. It was in the hightsth of the pandemic, and we had beautiful weather from like March to September, so this book perfectly fit that weather.
- Warcross by Marie Lu โ I remember finishing this book before I had this blog, I think it was even before the pandemic. I definitely enjoyed it at the time, but I didnโt like the sequel that much. Maybe I left too long in between both books.
- Legend by Marie Lu โ I have the worst timing for reading this book, because this was definitely a pandemic read. I didnโt review it, and I havenโt continued the series even though I want to.
- The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau โ I read and reviewed Independent Study last year, but I read this one way before that. I therefore didnโt review it on this blog.
- The Hunger Games (and its prequels and sequels) by Suzanne Collins โ Iโm not sure why my mind only comes up with pandemic reads, but I binged this series during the first Covid lockdown.
- Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart โ This book was a bit tough at the start, but once I got intrigued by it, I couldnโt put it down. However, I didnโt have this blog back in 2021, so no review from me.
- Circe by Madeline Miller โ This book got me out of a reading slump, but I havenโt reviewed it on here. I wonder if I ever did.
- Atalanta by Jennifer Saint โ One of my more recent reads (2023), but I didnโt know what to say about this novel, so I didnโt create a blog post for it. I remember not particularly liking it though.
- Swimming in the Dark by Tomรกsz Jedrowski โ I read this book in 2022, a few months prior to this blog. I enjoyed the story, but didnโt like the narration at all.
- To Italy, With Love by Nicky Pellegrino โ This is an inbetweener, a perfect summer read. I hardly review this kind of books because I donโt have to say enough about them. In my opinion, itโs not worth a review on my blog if I have not much to say about a book.
What (kind of) books have you never reviewed?
