In life

This past week we had a minor heatwave, especially Tuesday was unbeearrable. I always work at home that day and the sun starts to shine in my home office around 1PM and stays there till sunset. So, when it’s already 28 degrees outside, it’s horrendous. I had to work with the curtains closed and the fen on. The rest of the week wasn’t eventful at all.

On the shelf

This week, I managed to read a certain amount of books. I started the week with finishing Let the Games Begin by Rufaro Faith Mazarura. It was okay, but unfortunately it fell flat yet again. Then, I finally finished my Empire of Storms reread. Wehn I did so, I started Lady of Darkness by Melissa K. Roehrich, only to finish that pretty quickly as well. Finally, I started Niet zonder liefde by Wendy Brokers, a Dutch romance. I’m not far in yet, but it’s already very, very smutty.
