It has been a while since I participated in The Sunday Post, I really should get better at it. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received.
In life
The past 2 weeks, I had my first part of my summer leave. We re allowed to take a maximum of 4 weeks off in a row, but I choose to split them. So, I had 2 weeks now and I will have another 2-week break in the end of August/early September. I have been lucky with my first week off, because we really had summer weather then. However, it was a bit too hot to do anything though. Whe writing this post, it’s 14 degrees outside and it just has stopped raining. I hope I’ll be able to do some outside reading this season because I barely have done so. I managed to get some reading done, but I also got a new desk. The one I had was not good for me, it was a bit too high and I got back- and neckpain when working at home. I unfortunately didn’t go to the Eras tour in Amsterdam, I even didn’t manage to get tickets with the extra code I got last week. I can only have seats at these huge shows and they were all gone. Oh well.
On the shelf
I always plan to get tons of reading done when I’m off work, but in the past 2 weeks I only finished 3 books. The first 2 were last week, but this week I finished Independent Study by Joelle Charbonneau. It has been sitting in a forgotten folder on an external hard drive so it was time to take it out. I also listened a bit in Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, but somehow I can’t seem to get into this reread as much as I could with the previous books in this series.
