I’m back from a one week holiday in Fuerteventura and this is my first blogpost after my short hiatus. And what better way to return than with a new seasonal TBR? I’ve been doing pretty good on last year’s one as you can see in my reflection post. So, what will this Spring bring me?
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
My Spring 2024 TBR
This is quite random, so the book that’s on the #1 spot might not be chosen as the first book to read.
- One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I’ve been loving Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books ever since I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I can’t wait to dive into this one. It has fallen off my radar, but it got back on it after the publication of the Dutch book. I’ll be listening to the English audiobook though.
- True Biz by Sara Novic – I already downloaded this audiobook as potential candidate to read during one of my flights, but I didn’t get to it. However, it’s one of the backlist books I want to read this year, so why not prioritize it?
- A Touch of Ruin by Scarlett St. Clair – This series is getting its final chance as you can see in my review for A Game of Fate which will be up on Thursday.
- The Women by Kristin Hannah – I’ve been wanting to read this book since it’s publication, but simply didn’t have the time to pick it up.
- Tokyo Dreaming by Emiko Jean – I’m taking this from my reflection post, because I’m actually curious whether I will be able to resonate with it still.
- The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata – This book has been on my TBR for a long while now, but since I figured I won’t pick it up as audiobook, I got myself a Kindle copy last month. Now I have no excuse left to not pick it up right?
- Twisted Lies by Ana Huang – I just need to read this final book in the series but it’s about my least favorite character in the group of friends so I keep pushing it back. So I just have to hold myself accountable.
- Ruthles Vows by Rebecca Ross – Although I’m not the biggest Divine Rivals enthousiast I also got this book ready for the airplane, so why not reading it soon?
- Heartless by Elsie Silver – Just a romance to lighten the mood since most books on this TBR are quite heavy on its themes.
- The Final Strife by Saara El-Arifi – In fact, I need to read this one very soon since I’m going to an event where this author will be present in April.
Have you read any of these books? What books are on your TBR for the upcoming season?
