Top Ten Tuesday: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2023

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This is the final post of 2023, I promise. But this week’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the new-to-me authors I’ve discovered in 2023. Prepare yourself for lots of romance authors! Also, you can find reviews of books by all these authors in my review indexes.

  • Ana Huang
  • Carley Fortune
  • Lucy Score
  • Madeline Martin
  • Min Jin Lee
  • Erin Litteken
  • Elsie Silver
  • Nicole Arend
  • Beth O’Leary
  • Carissa Broadbent

Have you read books by any of these authors?

  1. I read Elsie Silver last year too, i don’t finished her cowboy saga but I’m planning to finish soon

  2. I think I’ve only read Beth O’Leary from your list. I’ve just finished her latest, The Wake-Up Call, actually although it’s not my favourite.

I love how everyone’s lists are so different. Here’s my post for this week: https://portobellobookblog.com/2024/01/30/top-ten-tuesday-30th-january-2024-new-to-me-authors-i-discovered-in-2023-toptentuesday-bookrecommendations-amreading-tuesdaybookblog/

  13. I don’t believe I’ve read any of these authors as of yet, but so glad you found so many you enjoyed in 2023.

  14. Great list! I loved Erin Litteken’s 2022 book, but didn’t get a chance to read her 2023 release yet, even though I have a copy on my kindle already. Everyone seems to be going bananas over Ana Huang, but maybe I picked the wrong book to start with, because I was in the minority that didn’t love it. Let’s hope for an incredible reading year in 2024!

  15. I know a lot of people who love Lucy Score’s books. I need to look up the rest of these. I think I could find some new to me authors for this year among them.

  16. I’ve read Ana Huang and Carissa Broadbent and maybe one Lucy Score book so far. Great list!
