WWW Wednesday | 10/25/2023

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words, where bloggers share the books that they’ve recently finished, what they are currently reading and what books they are planning to read next. Essentially you have to answer three questions (the Three Ws): What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? Since I’m a mood reader, you have to take my last W with a grane of salt though. So, let’s take a look into my 3 W’s, shall we?

What are you currently reading?

I’m in both a reading slump and caught covid for the first time after 3.5 years after it got out in the world, so I haven’t been progressing a lot on my reading. I’m writing this post in the late afternoon on Tuesday – I tested positive on Sunday – and I finally picked up a book this afternoon since Thursday. So yay for that! Last thursday, I was already making progress in Falling Hard For the Royal Guard by Megan Clwason and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty. I hope I finally started the road to recovery now (I read again, threw the blankets off the sofa and i’m feeling hungry again) and I can finish these books by the end of the week! Also, I’m still having The Toll by Neal Shusterman on my currently reading shelf, but I haven’t picked that up even longer.

What did you recently finish reading?

Nothing unfortunately.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Definitely lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. I also want to get to more backlist titles, so maybe one of those as well.

How was your reading week?
