WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words, where bloggers share the books that they’ve recently finished, what they are currently reading and what books they are planning to read next. Essentially you have to answer three questions (the Three Ws): What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? Since I’m a mood reader, you have to take my last W with a grane of salt though. So, let’s take a look into my 3 W’s, shall we?

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading 2 books. Ies, I indeed picked up Icebreaker by Hannah Grace, but not until the weekend. I’m 25% in (might be more when this post gets published) and I enjoy it so far. I first picked up The Keeper of Hidden Books by Madeline Martin. I saw this book last week on several Top Ten Tuesday posts and that made me curious. I started the audiobook, but that went a bit too slow for me so I picked up the ebook. It was quite cheap so that’s fine. If it was more expensive I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place. I was hoping to have finished it by now since I already started last wednesday, but unfortunately not.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently had to yet again DNF a book. That was painful, because I really wanted to enjoy Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong. I also listened to the audiobook and although the sample sounded quite nice, tthe actual narration was quite boring to me. So was the story. Unfortunately, the ebook is a bit to pricey for this book as I’m not 100% convinced to buy it.

I’m having bad luck with my books lately, because Girl, Goddess, Queen by Bea Fitzgerald disappointed me as well. This was one of my most anticipated books of the summer and I just…. struggled. My review will be up tomorrow actually.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m not sure. On one hand I want to dive into Fall of Ruin and Wrath by Jennifer L. Armentrout, but I’m not sure if I’m ready yet. My second option is another lighter read, The Fine Print by Lauren Asher. Well, let’s wait and see what my mood decides.
