Book Blogger Hop | What apps/websites do you use to make your social media posts?

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings Of A Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s hop:

March 31st – April 6th – What apps/websites do you use to make your social media posts? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

I am present on both Twitter and Instagram in regards to my blog. I’ve tried the automatic publisher WordPress provides for a while, but I found my post not appearing when I checked Twitter. They only appeared once I logged in myself. So, I prefer to schedule them manually when I schedule my blogpost. Thankfully Twitter has that option. When it comes to Instagram, I use Canva. Just the basics. The standard frame, a standard background and then the picture of the book cover. I just replace the covers and nothing else.

So, that’s it. What apps/websites do you use to create your social media posts?

  1. Good morning, Laurie. I use Later, Canva and Book Brush for Instagram. Since my blog is on WordPress, it posts to my Facebook, Twitter, etc. Have a wonderful weekend 😊

    1. Okay I’m really curious now about Later and Book Brush!

  2. I’d never heard of Canva, but I’m seeing it pop up several times in response to this question. I’ll have to look into it.

    1. It’s easy and free.

  3. I keep it pretty simple. I use the WordPress scheduler and then I copy the scheduled link into Twitter and schedule a tweet on there. I don’t do anything special for Instagram because it’s not my main platform.
