The Sunday Post | February 5, 2023

The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received.

I’m a little later than usual, but I haen’t been home all day. This past week was an ordinary work week, although I worked 2 days remotely. I really dislike working at home, I get distracted way too easily. Usually I work home once a week because of this, but now I had another appointment. Luckily, I have to go to the office 3 times a week for the unforseeable future, which is good for me. Last night I finally went to a concert again after the pandemic, which was awesome. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to read as much as I wanted the past week.

On the shelf

On Monday I finished This Is Kind of an Epic Love Story by Kacen Callender. This book was on my shelf for a while, probably a bit too long. It was okay but nothing more than that. I also finished a Dutch review copy for a book which is originally Swedish. This was also mediocre to me. I’m currently in the process of reading Stay With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout (written under her pen name Jay Lynn) and since I’ve switched from Dutch to English, I manage to get through it. Also, I have to pick another book but I don’t know which one yet.

  1. I was not a fan of working at home either. Too many distractions, as well as my dogs are constantly interrupting me! I hope that you have a good week, and thanks for visiting me on Lisa Loves Literature earlier!
