Wrap Up: January 2023

January has come and gone in the blink of an eye, hasn’t it? No? Just me with that feeling? Alright. Anyway, it went by quickly. I didn’t have time off over Christmas, I took my break mid January. Unfortunately, it started with a water leak, the 3rd one within a year. My appartment has been left empty for 4 years before I got the keys last year, and also was renovated. Obviously, something went wrong there. Now, I hope the leaks stay away, because literally every pipe in my kitchen connected to my heating system that could be replaced has been replaced. I also went away for a week, you can read all about this in my latest entry of The Sunday post. In January, I’ve read 7 books, which is below average for me. I started out quite smooth at the beginning of the year, but books took me longer than expected. Well, let’s take a look!

The books I’ve read

  1. The Memory Keeper of Kyiv by Erin Litteken: Ebook, Historical fiction, 4 stars
  2. The Awakening (Zodiac Academy #1) by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti: Ebook, New Adult, Fantasy, 3.5 stars
  3. It Starts With Us (It Ends With US #2) by Colleen Hoover: Ebook, Romance, 2.5 stars
  4. Solveigs belofte (Vrouwen van de Leeuwenhof #3) by Corina Bomann: Ebook, not translated into English, Historical fiction, 4 stars

  1. The pipe issue sounds like such a pain! I hope they got things fixed up permanently for you this time and that February treats you well. Happy reading!
